The Temple of Heaven is a masterpiece of Chinese architecture and landscape design, where emperors once prayed for bountiful harvests. The centerpiece is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a stunning triple-eaved circular building with a deep blue roof symbolizing heaven. Visitors can walk along the raised Danbi Bridge, which connects the main structures, and see the Echo Wall, where sound carries remarkably.
