✨ HighlightThe Varsity is one of those places you should visit at least once. It is integrated into the culture of Atlanta. My wife's family comes here every year for Christmas Eve. As far as the food goes: burgers, dogs, and fries. You can get that anywhere, but the atmosphere is what is unique here, especially if you're driving into downtown Atlanta from out of town. Oh, and you'd better know what you want before you walk up to the counter, they're moving it right along.→

✨ HighlightWe tried this restaurant because it was in walking distance of our hotel and I noticed a lot of people picking up to go orders. The place was very nicely decorated for Christmas and the friendly hostess sat us right away. Pria was our lovely server. She was super friendly, attentive, and recommended some of the popular dishes. We ordered the catfish, and the fried chicken entrees with mac and cheese, collard green, and rice and gravy. Everything thing came out hot, fresh, and delicious! Even the cornbread was sweet and moist. Their homemade lemonade and sweet tea were satisfying. When you're in the peach state, you have to try the peach cobbler. It was warm with spices and a delicious crust. We enjoyed every bite and highly recommend this place if you love southern food. We will be back if we visit Atlanta again.→
