The Jay Pritzker Pavilion is Millennium Park's centerpiece, a state-of-the-art outdoor concert venue designed by architect Frank Gehry. Its billowing stainless steel headdress and trellis of crisscrossing steel ribbons create a striking silhouette against the skyline. The lawn seats up to 11,000 people, with a sophisticated sound system that makes every seat feel close to the stage. Free classical, jazz, and world music concerts fill summer evenings.
