역사 이야기

Taikang Road was originally a residential area built in the 1920s with typical shikumen architecture. In the late 1990s, artists began moving into the vacant spaces, leading to the area's gradual transformation into an arts district. The name Tianzifang was coined by artist Chen Yifei, and the neighborhood has since become a symbol of Shanghai's cultural renaissance.
