Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is a distinctive octagonal structure in Guangzhou's Yuexiu District, built in 1931 to commemorate the founding father of modern China. The hall features a massive dome without supporting pillars, allowing unobstructed views of the stage. Its blue-tiled roof and red pillars are classic Chinese architectural elements. Inside, the grand hall seats 3,000 and regularly hosts concerts, exhibitions, and ceremonies. The surrounding lawn features a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen, a popular photo spot.
