Atatürk Forest Farm and Zoo, founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1925, is a sprawling urban farm and zoo on the western edge of Ankara. Originally a model farm to demonstrate modern agricultural techniques, it now encompasses a zoo, picnic areas, and a small amusement park. Visitors can observe animals such as lions, bears, and birds, stroll through lush gardens, and sample fresh dairy products from the farm. The site also includes a historic mansion and a brewery, reflecting Atatürk's vision of a self-sufficient, modern Turkey.
