Ilojo Bar, also known as the Brazilian Bar, is one of Lagos's oldest surviving colonial-era buildings, constructed in the 19th century by returnee Brazilian slaves. Its distinctive architecture features wrought-iron balconies and stucco facades reminiscent of Brazilian colonial style. Once a lively social hub, the bar now stands as a heritage site, though it has faced neglect and structural challenges. Visitors can photograph its weathered exterior and imagine the vibrant gatherings of Lagos's elite that once took place within.
