Wanamaker Organ

The Wanamaker Organ is a breathtaking musical instrument located in the Grand Court of Macy's department store in Center City Philadelphia. Built in 1911 for the Wanamaker's store, it is the largest fully functioning pipe organ in the world, with over 28,000 pipes. The organ is played twice daily, filling the seven-story atrium with majestic sound. Visitors can watch from the surrounding balconies or sit on benches in the court.
