Museo Nacional de las Intervenciones

The Museo Nacional de las Intervenciones (National Museum of Interventions) is a unique historical museum located in the charming Coyoacán neighborhood of Mexico City. The building was originally a Dominican convent built in the 16th century. During the Mexican-American War, it was the site of the Battle of Churubusco (1847), where Mexican forces made a heroic last stand. The museum opened in 1981 to document foreign interventions from 1821 onward.
