Escultura La Estampida

Escultura La Estampida is an iconic public artwork in Guadalajara, depicting a herd of horses in mid-gallop, seemingly bursting through the ground. Created by Mexican artist Enrique Carbajal (known as Sebastián), the sculpture consists of several bronze horses that appear to be stampeding across a traffic circle. The dynamic poses and sense of motion make it a favorite photo spot for locals and tourists. Located at the busy intersection of Avenida Niños Héroes and Avenida López Mateos, the monument is surrounded by greenery and fountains, offering a surprising contrast to the urban bustle.
