Mount Hōman is a prominent peak within Dazaifu Prefectural Natural Park, drawing hikers with its well-maintained trails and rewarding vistas. The ascent typically takes about an hour, passing through forested paths and past Kamado Shrine, a sacred site dedicated to the god of fire. At the top, visitors are greeted with expansive views of the Dazaifu plain and, on clear days, the distant mountains.
