Babu Ghat is one of Kolkata's oldest and most famous ghats, located near the southern end of the Howrah Bridge. It serves as a bustling hub for river activities, including ferry services and private boat rides. Visitors can descend the stone steps to the water's edge, watch bathers and priests performing rituals, and take in sweeping views of the Howrah Bridge and the river traffic.
