The Great Pyramid of Giza, constructed around 2560 BCE as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, stands as the most iconic monument on the Giza Plateau. Visitors can marvel at its immense scale, originally 146.6 meters tall, and explore the narrow passageways leading to the King's Chamber. The pyramid's precision engineering, with massive limestone blocks weighing several tons each, continues to baffle engineers.
