Shenzhen Window of the World

Window of the World is one of Shenzhen's famous theme parks, a sprawling attraction where over 100 of the world's great landmarks are reproduced at miniature (and sometimes near-full) scale, letting you 'travel the world' in an afternoon. A 108-metre replica Eiffel Tower towers over the park (with an observation deck), alongside scaled versions of the Pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the Grand Canyon, Angkor Wat, Niagara Falls, and more, arranged by world region. It's kitschy, fun, and genuinely impressive in places, with cultural performances, rides, and a nightly show.

It's a quintessentially Chinese style of theme park, part educational, part spectacle, and popular with families and domestic tourists. Best treated in that spirit: a fun, photo-friendly half-day rather than a serious cultural experience. Evening visits catch the landmarks lit up and the stage shows.
