Bachalpsee is a pristine alpine lake situated at an elevation of about 2,265 meters, a short hike from the top of the First gondola station in Grindelwald. The lake is renowned for its crystal-clear waters that perfectly mirror the towering peaks of the Schreckhorn and Wetterhorn on calm days, creating a photographer's paradise. The surrounding landscape is a mix of rocky terrain, lush alpine meadows, and wildflowers in summer, offering a serene escape into nature.
