The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. The service was world-class - everyone was helpful and worked well together. Our waiter, Allen, really stood out and took good care of me. He was kind, patient, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my night. The food arrived quickly (only 10 minutes!) and was good. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its excellent service, food, and atmosphere.→

✨ HighlightFrom what we've heard, it's been rated/hailed as the best ribs in JHB. Were the ribs good? Yes. Were they the best I've had? Personally, no. I had the beef ribs. I really liked the fact that the basting wasn't that annoyingly sweet marinade used on almost all ribs. It was very smokey, however, the ribs were okay. Perhaps, these ratings/praise come from the pork ribs which I've yet to try. My man had the 500g t bone, the meat was absolutely juicy and tender. We weren't a fan of the sauces. We ordered mushroom sauce and Portuguese sauce. The service was extremely efficient and friendly so that's a plus. The restaurant itself has a big family feel. The decor literally looks like it hasn't changed since it opened, which makes it very homey. If you're going to try them out, I think you should opt for the pork ribs. I definitely want to give that a try and see if it lives up to the hype.→

✨ HighlightWe visited Living Room Sunday, January 7th We arrived around 1:30 p.m. and stayed till 6:00 p.m. I think. We had hummus which was delicious, different than I'm used to but very good. You should try it. We also had their cappuccinos which were delicious and they had cool designs on them. Always a plus in my book. We ended up changing seats three times, our server didn't even mind. I think she was the server to the entire room and she was phenomenal! We moved three times? Yes, we arrived and sat at one table but when space opened up at the chairs facing the view outside we moved over there. There's a gorgeous view of the city and so many pictures to be taken. However, it started raining so we moved back away from the window. We had come for Feel Good Sundays, to hear DJ 2Lani the Warrior spin. He was awesome! And Living Room was awesome. Very welcoming. I loved all the plants, everything was so green! I'll definitely try to make my way back before I head back to the US.→
