The National War Memorial Southern Command in Pune, India, is a war memorial dedicated to post-Independence war martyrs. It is the only war memorial in South Asia erected by citizens' contributions. Visitors can see a MiG-23BN used in the Kargil War and a replica of the frigate INS Trishul, which served in the Liberation of Goa and the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
