People's Park is an urban public park in central Zhengzhou, west of Erqi Road. It was the first park built in the city, opened in 1952. The park covers about 30 hectares, with lakes, gardens, and a theme park area with rides like a Ferris wheel and a skating rink. A lotus fountain sits at the center, surrounded by formal gardens of Chinese roses and pines.
