Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport is the primary air gateway for travelers visiting Mudanjiang and surrounding attractions. Located about 9 kilometers southwest of the city center, the airport handles domestic flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other major cities, with seasonal international charters. The terminal is modern but compact, offering basic amenities such as shops and restaurants. From here, visitors can easily reach downtown by taxi or airport bus, and onward to Jingpo Lake (about 1.5 hours by car) or the famous Snow Town (about 4 hours).
