We visit this place every time we come to ho chi min. Live Shrimps are cooked straight from a tank so can't ask for more freshness than that... Cons: Overcrowded and very noisy staff shouting across the dining area. But if you don't mind noisy crowd, definitely this is the place to eat seasfood
This was an awesome place to get fresh seafood. They did a great job. So much flavour! Awesome atmosphere here. Do it!!!
Felt terrible after finding out we were grossly overcharged. One small crab cost is more than 600,000 dong (found out other shops are selling for 300,000 dong) 5 prawns charged for 400,000 dong (double compared to others).
I came to Oc Oanh by a recommendation from a local here in HCM.. The guy who took my order was unpleasant and the service was bad. I ordered five dishes and they forgot my seafood noodle dish. Had to waved down 4 other servers and waited 30 - 40 minutes just for that. All of the dishes were on the salty side. This place was packed filled with people and they smoke everywhere. The prices are definitely on the higher side. Overall, I wouldn’t be coming back and do not recommend this place. It’s quite dirty to say the least.
