We had a wonderful evening at chapter on Christmas Eve. We had the earth call menu, which was delicious. The restaurant accommodated the request for a gluten-free menu for one person. Unfortunately, not all of the components of some courses could be eaten, but it was still a very good dinner experience. The alcoholic drinks went very well with the dishes and the service was very attentive. We definitely recommend the restaurant for a nice evening.
We had an absolutely incredible meal here! After spending a week trekking through Northern Vietnam, it was such a treat to end our trip with a finale that creatively and artfully highlights the local ingredients of Northern Vietnam. The stories behind every dish took us back to our own journey. It was truly a memorable meal and deserves a Michelin star!
The overall experience is acceptable, but I would expect more than just storytelling. If the food were presented separately, it would detract from the experience. The restaurant has potential, but it will need time to fully realise it.
We loved the food, the story, the restaurant, and the service. The food is special and with heavy attention to detail. There is tons of creativity in the dishes, and the flavors are great. Really recommended for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.
