Boria Bal is a large earthen mound, or tepe, located a few kilometers from Termez. It is the eroded remnant of a fortified settlement, possibly dating from the Kushan or early medieval period. Visitors can walk around the base and see pottery shards and brick fragments scattered on the surface. The site offers a tangible connection to the region's long history of habitation along the Silk Road. There are no facilities, so come prepared.
