Toqi Telpak Furushon, built in the 1570s, was originally the center for hat makers and furriers in Bukhara. Its name means 'dome of the hat sellers.' Today, the covered market retains its historic character with a central dome and side chambers, now occupied by shops selling traditional Uzbek hats (tubeteika), silk fabrics, carpets, and handmade jewelry. The atmosphere is less crowded than other bazaars, offering a more relaxed shopping experience. Visitors can admire the architectural details, including the ribbed dome and arched entrances, while browsing for authentic crafts.

Don't miss

  • Shop for traditional tubeteika skullcaps in various regional styles
  • Examine the ribbed dome's brickwork and the market's original 16th-century structure
  • Find handmade silver jewelry and embroidered textiles from local artisans
