The pizza here is just okay. Not the best in town or in this area. It’s pretty soupy and wet, maybe from the sauce. The flavor is alright. The atmosphere is great, there are different concepts in the same venue which is cool. The non alcoholic drink is so delicious! It’s a frozen juice. That was the best order of the table.
A far more expansive place than what it looks like from the outside. Delicious, huge pizzas and pitchers of beer make this a great place for casual family-style hangouts. -1 star because of the sneaky 20% service charge (which they do disclose in small font, to cover livable wages). It would be much preferred to prominently disclose that, and just bake the cost into the prices.
Food was very good. Enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy our meal. Staff were friendly and gave recommendations for the area. The only negative is that we had two couples and bill cannot be split at the table.
We had dinner here based on Trip Advisor reviews and were quite disappointed. We ordered a soppressata pizza and the meat sauce lasagna special. While the flavors were good, the pizza was dry and overcooked. The lasagna was a bowl of meat sauce and cheese. Neither of us could find any noodles! Folks next to us ordered the veggie lasagna and it was 4” high. The meat lasagna was barely an inch. Not sure I can recommend Sonny’s.
