Came here for happy hour on a Monday night and ended up ordering a main (venison loin) and a dessert (banana split) after being impressed by our happy hour dishes. All the dishes tasted balanced and unique - my partner and I had a lot of fun just looking at the menu as we were eating and talking about what we would get next time. We got the venison loin for the main and, for the price, I think it was on the smaller side (but it had our favorite find of the night - the parsnip puree of all the things!). After sharing three happy hour dishes, it felt like the right amount though. The Carolina cocktail wasn’t alcohol forward and went down smoothly, which is exactly what I was looking for. Service was prompt and friendly. Can’t say how it is on a weekend, but definitely recommend checking this place out.
Good new American food! We left with full and happy bellies 😃Their service was also very attentive throughout our meal. Yes it is on the pricey side. Pro-tip: they charge for sparkling water but not still water (tap water).
Why did they need to sit us next to the toilets on the second floor when during our entire dinner the main floor had plenty of space ? The food was great, the service was excellent although huried. So why spoil a possible great dinner with the worst seats in the house. Maybe because we are not American ?
Great food and service, every dish was outstanding. We were there for birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We will be heading back again!
