Great views, cool atmosphere, lackluster drink menu. We went to the bar on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was closed. The beer selection is limited, but one interesting choice from Yards Brewing:French Toast. It was quite good. My wife has two cocktails that were not good, in her opinion. Service was prompt and we were frequent checked up on. Go for the views.
This is a true dining experience. The decor and atmosphere is great. You get a trendy NYC vibe in their bar lounge and a soft, comfortable and inviting feeling in their dining area (additional dining area as well). Private rooms for parties. Staff is always super nice, well dressed and professional. Food was good. Fish items needed more flavor. Drinks are amazing. Crab cakes, Oysters and tuna tar tar was great. Dessert excellent. $200+ for drinks and three course meal for 2 people.
This restaurant was our go-to for Thanksgiving, prior to the pandemic. Every year, we would come for the luscious all-you-can-eat buffet. This year, we returned & it was great to be back! As always, the food was outstanding. (This year, they even had a duo that provided live instrumental music.) We did encounter an issue with seating. We asked to be moved to a different room & our request was denied. A screaming baby kept us from fully enjoying the experience.
Having been recommended this as a treat for brunch we were looking forward to our visit. Aware that most hotel lifts need a card to make them work we asked at the front desk and they just told us to go up to the 19th floor. We went up as far as the 14th where a customer got in the lift and we started to descend again. Luckily this customer used their room key to press for the 19th and once everyone got out in the lobby we went back up again. The young lady serving was very polite and friendly but was on her own and the two people who were behind the desk did not attempt to help her. We ordered starters and a main and after a half hour wait all the food came out together. The main was warm but not hot as was the starter the toast had been hot at some point but was definitely cold by the time it got to us. Having said all that the restaurant looked stunning, the food when it finally arrived although a little cold tasted good and the price was not unreasonable it’s just a shame that the customer experience was not what we would have expected
