If Philadelphia is the destination, Lacroix is a must! Highly recommend the tasting menu for first time visitors. The food is delicious and the service has always been 5 stars for my husband and I.
The service was good along with the food, solid choice if you're in the city and looking for a place not that crowded for brunch.
Worst high end meal experience. Got the tasting menu and wine paring which by the way costs $500 per couple. Started off with wait staff pouring the first glass of water all over the table, yup they missed the glass. Asked for a new table cloth but they said it's water and will dry, so entire meal I had huge wet spot in front of me. As for the meal, it was a very slow start we waited awhile and when the pairing started, half way through the entire meal they forgot about us, no food came out for 30 minutes. When food did arrive they skipped over dishes and had the entire pairing so messed up that we were getting dessert with wine from 2 dishes ago. This was an anniversary dinner and they totally bombed our meal. Never will go back. They comped our meal but anybody willing to spend $500 for dinner isn't looking for a free meal, I wanted a 4 star experience. This restaurant is all hype and no delivery. They should read the book "unreasonable hospitality" and learn what a good dining experience should be. I get better service at Applebees.
Food was OK but there was a protest outside that was incredibly loud and disturbing of our night out. I don’t think I will go back until the protesting is over. It was uncomfortable to sit there.
