The food was very good with quality ingredients that were well prepared. However, my experience was somewhat marred by the hostess who didn't seem to be the most welcoming to me and my party. Perhaps it was because we're not locals or regulars, but we didn't feel like she genuinely cared about what we had to say or actually bothered to listen to us. I think the front of the restaurant is incredibly important in setting the tone for the entire dining experience and they seemed to get someone who is not the right person for a genuinely great experience. All I can say is that I genuinely hope they do better with the front of the house in the future.
I've been a patron of this restaurant for years, but my experience tonight was one of the worst I've ever had. While I recognize the challenges of the current economy, offering an appetizer inside a can of sardines paired with fried saltines from a box and some mustard is simply unacceptable. It feels like a total rip-off. This is far from the hallmark of good cuisine. The food quality has significantly declined, and the prices are exorbitantly high. It used to be a great dining destination five years ago, but now, this place has lost its charm. To top it off, he adds a 2% fee (Rethink Contribution) which is ridiculous and unacceptable. It's not an option, it added to the bill. He should Rethink on his cuisine!! Lastly, bathrooms stink so bad; I cannot imagine how the kitchen cleanses looks and smells!
Very crowded and noisy. Food was overpriced and very average. Waiter was inattentive and I had to ask him three times to bring the roti that was supposed to go with the cauliflower shwarma. I had almost finished the dish by the time it came. I believe they charged the tip twice. This place has really gone downhill. Will never go back there.
What an experience!! Ambiance!! Music! Location! And the food!! I had the french onion croque w truffled sauce YUM!!! The chicken milanese was also delicious and lastly, the banana bread OMG!!! Even the wine was soooo good!!! Sarah from Long Island, was our waitress and her customer service was👌🏻!! She was so knowledgeable and nice!! I must come back!!
