I have been to both the Miami shores location and this coral gables location. Both are fantastic and have great consistency. My mom is an older Cuban woman that is difficult to impress when it comes to eating out, and she loved the place. Her cafecito was perfect as well as my iced cafe con leche with almondmilk. Her cuban sandwich was also flawless. I got eggs with toast and they were able to cater to my dairy intolerance and omit the butter. I look forward to coming here again!

Michelin “mentioned” so my husband and I stopped here to grab a bite to go. It was FANTASTIC! Surprised to see a long line at the walk up window for a Monday morning & it was a little bit of a wait for our sandwiches. However, it was 100% worth it! Fresh, piping hot and delicious- they know what they are doing here! Loved it & will be returning!

A cozy enclave in a commercial part of Coral Gables. Got there at 8 am (opening time) and they were in full gear ready to go. Plenty of dedicated parking right outside. Service very much with a smile. U get the sense that the staff enjoy working here. Most of them are humming along to the Latino music on the sound system. I had the iced Dirty Chai Latte. It was good (not the best I’ve had but I loved that it wasn't overflowing with ice. In other places, two sips and the drink is finished). Next time will try their Cortadito. I appreciated that the straw that came with my drink was made from recycled material. The spinach croquettes was very tasty - but small (ok given that it was priced for small). The egg tostada is made to order with several options to choose from - including wheat bread and egg whites only. They kept the menu simple, the layout of the place is well thought through. And their staff offer some of the best service I’ve had in Miami… in a very casual setting. Also really liked that their A/C keeps things cool without making you feel like you stepped into a deep freezer. And the place is super clean. U don’t smell the fryer even though it’s an open concept kitchen. Their coffee machine is near a take-out window to the outside. So U can order a fast drink n snack if in a rush.
