I'm so glad we chose to go here during our stay in Houston. It turned out to be an absolute delight! The restaurant was in a beautiful neighborhood, the ambiance was great, drinks were fantastic, and food was delicious. We'd certainly be back when in Houston again. Highly highly recommend the place!
I am very confused by some of the lower rated reviews. Each dish had a unique blend of flavors that melted in my mouth and made my taste buds sing. The presentation situation was a work of art, it was almost a shame to disrupt the beauty by digging in. I have a penchant for judging every restaurant by their pakora and Pondicheri did not let me down. Furthermore, I have several food allergies and the server at Pondicheri was not only educated she went out of her way to make sure the food was safe for me to eat. I am well pleased with all I experienced at Pondicheri. I can’t wait to return!
This is the most amazing place, I have never tasted such delicious, savory, entrancing food in my life. It is healthy and wonderful. It can also be indulgent. Check out the desserts! A truly unique experience and one that I will remember for a long time. Wish I lived in Houston. I’d be there every week!
pondicheri is absolutely one of my favorite places to go with friends and recommend to visitors who are coming here I kind of upscaled version of Indian street food. It is a casual fun but elegant dining experience with absolutely the best food.
