What a charming experience we had at La Griglia! The restaurant is huge and airy, filled with the best kind of happy bustle. Right from when you're being seated, you're made to feel like a special, welcome guest. The portions are generous (check out the size of the burrata baseball in the salad), and the food is somehow both traditional and inventive. If you're a salad lover like me, you're going to love so many options, especially if you are tired of being presented with a giant bowl of greens and not much else. The pasta and seafood are top notch, as is the wine list. Dessert is worth the splurge, especially the chocolate cake with a beautiful, crunchy toffee tulle. It's small, delicious touches such as these that bring people back. And we will be!
I recently celebrated my birthday here with my girlfriends, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious—easily some of the best Italian cuisine I’ve ever had! Ruben, one of the managers, gave us excellent recommendations, and his hospitality was top-notch. The entire staff made us feel so welcomed and valued. A+ service all around! This is now my favorite Italian spot, hands down. By far the best Italian dining experience I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back!
First time at this new location though we had visited the old location before. Amazing food all around. Strict dress code so you may be asked to sit outside if you don’t meet business casual. Only issue is with the service. Though friendly, we were not attended to much at all after our original order. We had to flag someone down for all drink and bread refills.
Absolutely fantastic! Excellent service, and our waiter Fernando was outstanding -- even offered to have them make me Veal Piccata off - menu (I opted with the veal on the menu). My wife and I were so full that we had to skip dessert, but enjoyed a shared appetizer, then our own salad, soup and entree. The Lobster Bisque was outstanding and probably the best dish of all enjoyed by us. Finally, the restaurant is beautiful! Be aware you must pay to park is you use the valet parking ($7) and the lot is shared with 4 other restaurants. There is curbside drop off on Dallas street -- but enter the valet on the side street to the East of the restaurant.
