The Powerhouse Science Center occupies a decommissioned coal-fired power plant built in 1904, blending industrial heritage with modern science education. Inside, visitors explore exhibits that encourage hands-on learning, such as a Tesla coil demonstration, a wind tunnel, and a replica of a human-powered generator. The museum also features a planetarium and rotating galleries on topics like local geology and robotics. The original brick walls and steel beams remain visible, creating a unique atmosphere where history and innovation converge. Families especially enjoy the interactive water play area and the live science shows.
