We tried everything on the menu, the star of bbq for me was ribs and half chicken especially parts that were charred, the food had such great flavor all around including all sides but seemed that the smoke taste was perfectly complimented by there homemade sauce. As for sides all were great but Brunswick Stew and sweet potato pie are the two most elevated sides on the menu. Also live music, which was a perfect compliment to the overall vibe this place has. Keep up the great work.
Absolutely delicious ribs and some incredible mac and cheese but the best collard greens I’ve ever had. Great live music as well! Absolute must visit in Atlanta
I ordered the full rack for $30. They were the fattest pieces of fat I’ve ever had. I could only pick apart a couple of fork holes of actual meat. There was so much fat.
Being somebody that moved from the country are of georgia to the city, I always am on the hunt for good collared greens. It’s rare that a place makes them the correct southern way. Fatt Matt’s however absolutely nails them. They are the perfect amount of salty and always cooked to perfection. This is my favorite bbq spot in the city. The food is always really quick and it always has the same consistently amazing quality.
