The food was amazing!! The attention to detail here by the staff is unmatched. I’ve been to many fine dining establishments and been disappointed with the service and the food, but literally no notes here. We ordered a large steak and salad to split, and they split it for us on separate plates! I’ve never had that happen before. Usually they just slice the steak and put it on one platter and give us individual, empty plates. The drinks were also good but sooo strong. I think just one drink was enough for me lol. This restaurant definitely fulfilled my 80’s business dinner fantasies. Only downside is, when it’s busy, it is really loud and hard to have a conversation, especially if you’re sitting next to a rowdy table. As the night went on though, the noise level improved.
From the moment I stepped into Chops & Lobster Bar, I knew my family and I were in for a treat. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with warm lighting and thoughtful décor that invites you to settle in and savor the experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server (Earl) was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring every dish complemented the next. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every plate was a masterpiece. The Porterhouse Lamb Chops was a revelation, with its perfectly balanced flavors and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Hong Kong Sea Bass, a house specialty, was an explosion of taste that left me wanting more. Even the side dishes and desserts were crafted with care and attention to detail. You must try the Mediterranean Octopus!!! One of the standout moments was the presentation. Each dish arrived like a work of art, showcasing the chef’s commitment to excellence. The drinks were equally impressive. The Chops Old Fashioned and Herradura Blanco Margaritas was expertly mixed. In short, Chops Lobster Bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, stellar service, and an unforgettable dining experience. A must if you’re visiting Atlanta!! Add to the top of your list. I’ll definitely be returning!
The service, food and atmosphere were exceptional. While it certainly justified its $$$$ rating; it was expensive, it was worth the price. The lobster bisque had large pieces of lobster meat. The steaks were perfectly prepared and the sea bass was moist and flavorful with its sesame soy broth. Desserts were also spot on. We had a good time and a memorable experience.
This restaurant is located in a very wealthy area of Atlanta. Huge mansions all over the area. So if you are ready to spend big go here and enjoy yourself. Very cool & stylish restaurant. Shay gave me great service during my visit. Fresh Florida Stonecrab claws a huge plus, they tasted magic with mustardsauce. Lobsterbisque with morels of lobster rich & good, but not the best i tried. Peppersteak was super good, but i will choose different toppings next time. Super wines by glass. Highly recommended! Even its expensive
