Michelin awarded BBQ on the side of a road attached to a small corner market. The place kind of catches you off guard for Michelin quality but the food certainly hits the mark. We got an assortment of brisket, pulled pork, and ribs and all of them were probably the best I have ever eaten. The pulled pork almost melted in your mouth. Hardly needed chewing, and the flavor was incredible. The staff was so friendly, we had a wonderful time meeting Lindsey and her staff
Was recommended by a few friends, so I decided to check it out. The ribs were decent, but the sauce really made them better. The hot chicken sandwich was a standout with its crispy, spicy kick and kimchi twist. Loved the pecan pie and the sweet & spicy tofu side. Worth trying!
Never ever again will I patronize this place. Look at the photo, like you can actually go inside. Nope. You stand outside and place your order online. Then you pay with your credit card. Then they ask for your name, email, and phone number which authorizes them to send you messages. I tried to bypass the phone number or opt out of messages, and NOPE. Then they ask for a tip for me placing my own order and entering my own payment. I can't complete the order, so I look up their phone number and call them to cancel my order and make sure I'm not charged. A woman tells me that she can help me with that, asks where I am (in my car) and to come over to where she is. So I do and she starts trying to take my order. I was very hungry which can make me cranky and there were other people standing around, so I very nicely said that I just wanted to cancel the order and make sure I wasn't charged. She says loudly, getting the attention of everyone out there," IF YOU ARE GOING TO YELL AT ME I CAN'T HELP YOU". I told her I definitely wasn't yelling and that I would just deal with this a different way. So as I'm walking back to my car, she turns to the other people standing outside waiting and says, "IS IT ME? IS IT THAT DIFFICULT?" Never. Never again. I'm not giving out my personal information to get an overpriced meal, and I'm not patronizing a company that won't take my cash, and definitely not anywhere that treats me like that. I enjoyed a delicious steak at Longhorn instead.
We got the HM3x3 meal for two. This comes with brisket, pulled chicken and spicy Korean pork. We enjoyed everything but the brisket. It wasn’t dry, but it was pretty fatty and not that flavorful. The sides it comes with are kimchi slaw, baked beans and macaroni and cheese. These were all good, but our favorite was the slaw. The fusion was done well and we enjoyed it. They have a patio you can eat at, but it’s just tables and not chairs. This is typically not a big deal, but we had our 14 month old with us so we had to eat in our vehicle which is quite the task with barbecue 😂
