Located in the heart of London, Sushi Tetsu is a charming 7-seat sushi bar that feels like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. This intimate dining experience is run by a husband and wife team who bring warmth and joy to every meal, creating an atmosphere akin to a members-only supper club. Guests rave about the incredible sushi, particularly the different cuts of tuna, and the thoughtful omakase presentations that transport diners straight to Japan. With a focus on quality and detail, it's no surprise that repeat customers are a common sight. This is a place where culinary excellence meets genuine hospitality, making it a must-visit for sushi lovers in the UK.

Incredible 7-seat gem of a place run by husband and wife who could not be more friendly and fun, providing not only amazing sushi (among the best I’ve ever had) but also teaching us all so much about the food and Japanese culture more broadly. Everyone else in the restaurant was a repeat customer, and I could see why!
A true hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel as if joining a members only supper club. The attention to detail and quality—food and service—were very curated. Every bite was delicious, particularly the different cuts of tuna. Perfect for an intimate, relaxed but special evening. I genuinely can’t wait to return.
This was my fourth visit to this wonderful 7 seat sushi bar. Yes, it's a bit of a pain to get a slot but not that big of a deal - just follow the instructions. The restaurant is extremely transparent about their rules, the time dinner with take (3 hours, in our case) and exactly how much it will cost you - there are zero surprises. The host/chef couple are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is outstanding. At more than £200 p/person with a carafe (!) of very nice sake, it's not a place we can go very frequently, but for a treat, it can not be bested.
All beautifully prepared and make it in front of you. Chef is so kind and smiling all the time and let you enjoy with relax atmosphere.
