Craig Phadrig is a forested hill on the western edge of Inverness, crowned by the remains of a Pictish fort dating from around 300–600 AD. A short, steep walk through woodland leads to the summit, where visitors are rewarded with sweeping views across the city, the Moray Firth, and the Beauly Firth. The site is free to explore and provides a peaceful escape into nature, with interpretive panels explaining the fort's history. It's a great spot for a quick hike and photography, especially at sunset.
