Schieffelin Hall, built in 1881 by mining magnate Ed Schieffelin, is the largest adobe building in Tombstone and originally served as an opera house and community social hall. Today, it remains a functioning venue for concerts, plays, and private events, while also offering guided tours. Visitors can admire the restored interior, including the original stage, balcony seating, and period details. The hall's history as a center for entertainment, from traveling shows to political rallies, is brought to life through exhibits and stories. It's a quieter, more refined counterpoint to the Bird Cage Theatre, showcasing Tombstone's cultural side.
