Its twin spires rise above the historic district, while inside, visitors are awed by the vibrant stained glass windows depicting biblical scenes, the ornate altar, and the hand-painted ceiling. The cathedral was rebuilt after an 1898 fire and features a marble high altar and a 2,500-pipe organ. Guided tours highlight its history and artistry.
