The Jepson Center for the Arts is a sleek, modern building that houses the Telfair Museums' contemporary art collection and the Telfair Children's Art Museum. Located on York Street in downtown Savannah, it's a contrast to the historic Telfair Academy nearby. The Jepson Center features rotating exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, including works by artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Chihuly. The children's museum on the lower level offers hands-on art activities, a creativity lab, and interactive exhibits designed for kids and families. The building itself is a work of art, with a glass facade and open, light-filled galleries. It's a great spot for a rainy day or a break from Savannah's historic squares.
