Hall des Lumières is a cutting-edge digital art center housed in the former Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank building, a stunning Beaux-Arts landmark in Lower Manhattan. The museum transforms its vast, columned halls into a canvas for immersive, large-scale projections that surround visitors with moving imagery, from classic paintings to contemporary digital creations. As you walk through the space, you're enveloped in sound and light, with artworks flowing across walls, floors, and ceilings. What makes it distinctive is its focus on 'total immersion', you don't just view art; you experience it from within. The rotating exhibitions often feature masters like Gustav Klimt or Frida Kahlo, reimagined through digital animation. The architecture itself is a highlight, with the grand banking hall's vaulted ceilings and marble details adding to the spectacle. It's a sensory journey that appeals to art lovers and tech enthusiasts alike, offering a fresh way to engage with iconic works.

The building opened in 1912 as the headquarters of the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, designed by architect Raymond F. Almirall. After decades as a bank, it was repurposed into an event space and later transformed into Hall des Lumières in 2022, following the success of similar digital art centers in Paris and other cities.
