A bit of history

Alice Tully Hall opened in 1969 as part of Lincoln Center, named after the philanthropist and musician Alice Tully. It was designed by architect Pietro Belluschi and underwent a $159 million renovation in 2009 by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, updating its lobby and acoustics.
