The Manitou Incline is a rigorous hiking trail near Colorado Springs, consisting of over 2,700 wooden steps that climb nearly 2,000 feet in elevation. Originally a cable car route for construction materials, it now serves as a popular fitness challenge. Hikers are rewarded with sweeping views of the Pikes Peak region, but the steep grade demands good physical condition.
