Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a unique mountain zoo perched at 6,800 feet on the slopes of Cheyenne Mountain, offering breathtaking views of Colorado Springs. It houses over 750 animals representing 170 species, including giraffes, lions, and grizzly bears. The zoo's elevated setting creates naturalistic habitats and allows visitors to feed giraffes at eye level.
