Raigmore Cairn, also known as Stoneyfield Cairn, is a Neolithic chambered tomb located on the outskirts of Inverness. This well-preserved cairn features a central chamber with three side cells, typical of the Orkney-Cromarty type. Excavations revealed human remains and pottery, indicating its use as a communal burial site. Visitors can view the cairn from a short path; the site is open and free to explore. It offers a tangible link to the region's ancient past, set in a quiet residential area.
