Makovytsia is a popular hiking destination near Yaremche, rising to about 984 meters. The mountain features well-marked trails that wind through beech forests and open meadows, leading to a summit with panoramic views of the Carpathian ridges and the Prut River valley. It's a moderately challenging hike suitable for most fitness levels, rewarding visitors with a sense of accomplishment and stunning photo opportunities.
