The atmosphere was excellent, and the service was good. They use quality ingredients, but almost all of the dishes were overly salty and had flavors that were too intense for my taste, especially compared to other Michelin-two-starred restaurants I’ve visited. I’m unsure if this is just a matter of my personal preference or part of Turkish cuisine. Each dish was flavorful and tasty, but the menu didn’t feel very cohesive. Many items were relatively heavy and salty, and the desserts lacked variety, with multiple similar options. Overall, I found it overpriced for what it offered. There are some areas for improvement if it is to meet the standards of a two-star Michelin restaurant.

A love letter to Turkish cuisine. We enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairing. I did not have experience with Turkish wines, and it was fascinating. The food was so good I felt like I needed a new vocabulary for it, and the service was impeccable. The kitchen tour at the end was an unexpected bonus. Perhaps the best meal of my life.

This is a truly special experience and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. We’ve visited a number of high end tasting-menu restaurants like this (some in the top 50 list) and I honestly think Turk Fatih Tutak was up there with the best. Service, vibe and food was all outstanding. My wife is a pickle aficionado and the pickle shot is the best thing she’s ever tasted. It’s not cheap but with the price tag in my opinion.

The presentation of the dishes is worthy of an art gallery, each creation showcasing the creative genius behind the kitchen. All of this is complemented by a wine selection that perfectly harmonizes with the flavors of the food. It’s much more than a meal; it’s an experience that defines what haute cuisine truly means. A true Michelin-star feast that deserves every bit of praise.
