Green Tomb

The Green Tomb is the final resting place of Sultan Mehmed I, built in 1421. Its exterior is covered in vibrant green tiles that shimmer in the sunlight, making it a distinctive landmark. Inside, the tomb features a single dome with a cenotaph adorned with intricate tile work and calligraphy. The serene interior invites reflection, while the surrounding gardens offer a peaceful setting. It is part of the Green Complex, alongside the Green Mosque.
