The Theatre at Halicarnassus, carved into the hillside, is one of the best-preserved ancient theaters in Turkey. Built in the 4th century BCE, it once held up to 13,000 spectators for dramas and gladiator fights. Today, visitors can climb the stone seats and imagine performances against the backdrop of the Aegean Sea.
