JW Steakhouse in Ankara, Turkey, is designed to offer a refined dining experience with its upscale ambiance and attentive service. While many patrons praise the polite staff and the restaurant's elegant decor, opinions about the food quality and pricing vary significantly. Diners can expect a high-end steakhouse experience, complete with a full bar and a robust wine list that some find exorbitantly priced. The restaurant caters well to couples and business diners, making it a popular choice for intimate dinners and professional gatherings alike. However, many reviews suggest that the meat quality may not consistently match the upscale setting, leaving some guests feeling that they can find better value elsewhere in the city. It’s a place where the atmosphere shines, but the culinary offerings leave room for improvement.

Steaks were average to above average, if just a little dry. Service is friendly and attentive. That's about all this place has going for it. Their prices for wine are the most insane I have seen in Turkey. Every bottle was marked up at least 10x! A terrible 10€ bottle from a shop down the road was marked up to 130€. A bottle of Moët was 530€!!! How can you even begin to think of charging this much? I will not be coming back and don't recommend anyone else visiting.
The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, but the meat quality is below the standard very dry even medium cooked
I have been a Marriott person literally for decades I had never been to one of their steakhouses until today. I can honestly say it’s the first and the last time. It was very expensive while the service was excellent the food was mediocre. The cream spinach was just missing some thing I don’t know what it was and the twice baked potato I’ve had better microwave ones than I had tonight. The porterhouse steak I had was not very good quality either that or it was from a milk cow because it had lots of gristle and it was very tough and I had it medium rare, part’s were overcooked too. The beer selection is terrible, but I want to say this a few times the wait staff is very polite and very attentive excellent service it’s just the rest does it cut it Honestly I’ve had much better steaks at the Outback and LongHornSteakhouse for significantly less money!!
The JW Steakhouse is a solid high-end dining experience. The menu offers a good selection of meat cuts and the service is also of the expected 5-star quality. We ate a ribeye and filet respectively and were not disappointed. They also provided us with a complimentary duck pastry amuse bouche which was tasty too. Overall, a pleasant evening.
